A word about the considerations and rituals for undertaking the practice of Iṅginī and Prāyopagamana types of maraṇa will not be out of place. Bhagavatī Ārādhanā lays down that the rituals and considerations applicable to the practice of Savicāra Bhaktapratyākhyāna–maraṇa are also variously applicable to the practice of Iṅginīmaraṇa and Prāyopagamanamaraṇa.i
